many people have trouble with the salt water flush because they do not mix it properly.
water: 32oz = 1 quart = 1 liter
salt: 2 teaspoons uniodized sea salt
I find this solution does not taste much more salty than Mr. Noodles broth.
some people i have heard using 2 tablespoons which makes it way nastier.
good luck.

Re: Salt Water Flush common mistakes
Mon, January 28, 2008 - 4:25 PMThanks for an excellent post. Only one nit to pick: 1 quart does not exactly equal 1 Liter. 1 quart is about 0.946 of a liter. -

ya i know..
but it seems to still be pretty close enough for those non-americans that might not know what to call a quart.
that extra 54ml of water seems to not disturb the solution much. -

Thu, February 14, 2008 - 3:41 PMI find that i need closer to 2 tablespoons for an effective flush... otherwise it feels like i'm absorbing most of it.

Thu, February 14, 2008 - 3:57 PMHmm, I think I did 2 Tablespoons...because man, mine was GROSS. I had to keep from puking it up...it was bad. -

Re: Salt Water Flush common mistakes
Sun, March 16, 2008 - 6:02 PMThat *is* a really common mistake....but the only time that I felt like I got an effective salt water flush was the time I mixed up tea for table.

Mon, March 17, 2008 - 9:26 AMEveryone's blood density varies so you may need to pay around with it, but generally teaspoons should be enough salt. It's the perfect solution for me. :) -

Re: Salt Water Flush common mistakes
Thu, June 5, 2008 - 1:59 PMk, I have a question, is the saltwater flushed only to be drank while doing the lemonade diet? or is it just added on to the MC for further cleansing? I need a boost of energy after being a lazy pothead, I need to cleanse myself and get ready for a big move coming up in a few weeks. I'm not sure I want to go too crazy with the MC, but saltwater flush wouldnt be so bad. You still get to eat light raw foods on the SWC, right?
lemonade diet= cleanse BODY TOXINS
saltwater flush= cleanse COLON TOXINS is this right? -

Re: Salt Water Flush common mistakes
Sun, July 6, 2008 - 6:09 AMYou will have a 'big move' if you do the SWF right! Never have done it off a cleanse. Seems like that'd be more messy, did you do it?? -

Re: Salt Water Flush common mistakes
Sun, August 10, 2008 - 8:38 AMI do the saltwater flush "off cleanse" occasionally. The only rule is that you have not eaten in the last eight hours. It works fine. Actually, a friend of mine from the Netherlands has a grandfather who drinks a large glass of saltwater EVERY morning to start his day. He is 92 years old.
