anyone with me? I'm blogging at curezone...I feel a certain responsibility. It seems pretty common that when people set out to try the Master Cleanser, there is a fascination with other people's experiences...and there are hundreds of MC blogs that start out, "Day 1, I am so hyped! " blah blah blah...and there's never another post, or by day three, they've caved.

Have any of you blogged your cleanse from start to finish?

I tried to do a liver flush yesterday, but developed a migraine early in the afternoon and was vomiting all over the place by evening. After three weeks of being wheat-free, I probaby should not have snuck those wheat thins, thinking it would be okay since I was going to cleanse the next day anyway....oops.

I've done it for 9 days, and I want to go on. I had a c-section, on 1-12-07, and took a vicadon today, I blacked out for about 10 minutes then I was fine. Won't do that again. I've been afraid of eating during this time, and have moderately. Tomorrow, no more eating, cleansing for 10-25 days. Whatever it takes. Want the weight off, and to embrace this new way of life, raw. What about drinking the salt water when I need to eliminate, throughout the day. You Know? I'm starting to like this. The other day, I didn't because I was feeling very depressed and trapped. i spent a day alone and feel much better. I want the results of this cleanse, 40-50 lbs, and a healthier lifestyle permanent. I have to know why I am doing this or I start thinking its ok to cheat, and feel sorry for myself when I get self destructive thoughts, instead of seeing that all those things I have the oppurtunity to change, and they will change as I stay committed to this, and realize its kinda foolish to cheat this thing. I just have to get used to this really being apart of my new life, and that there is no turning back. My mind thinks it can, my soul wants complete restoration.

did you do a parasite cleanse before your liver flush?
i read that you can become ill if you dont.

after my master cleanse i upped the healthy fat in my diet and stones came out so i skipped the liver flush. i had done a parasite cleanse before the master cleanse. i dont know if that helped in what happened.

It is a good idea. I started my cleanse becuase I had to take antibiotics for bronchitis. this was what I used as the equivallent of a parasite cleanse. I did load up on acidopholus though.

No parasite cleanse, Hulda Clark is the only one I know of that insists that you can't liver flush without it. Although, I did take black walnut extract 2x day for a week.

I ended up abandoning the liver flush after the first dose of epsom salts. I had been developing a migraine (allergy-induced). When I get a migraine, I get STUPID, can't think, can't talk, can barely open my eyes...so I didn't think to use the neti pot to help. DUH. And then I started vomiting just before it was time to take the 2nd dose...bah.

But I feel a LOT better now and am on day 4, no problems, and I'll do a liver flush when I wrap up the cleanse.

I just started a MC today with my boyfriend. This is my 5th MC and his first. Heheheh. I kept telling him to leave today open so he could just chill out but he had to go running around. He left his cell phone on the table this morning and ran out of the house saying, "I feel so spacey-- it's like drugs, only better" =)

Ahhh. My first cup of lemonade tasted so good this morning. It's like an old friend, ya know?

How are the rest of you doing?

"Ahhh. My first cup of lemonade tasted so good this morning. It's like an old friend, ya know? "

      That's exactly what I thought!

I'm actually doing way better than expected. By this time on my first cleanse, I was taking naps in the middle of the day and spacey and feeling a little ooky. This time around, I feel fabulous! The three-week detox I did before must have helped tremendously. I worked out yesterday and today (not too hard, not trying to use muscle for fuel...eww..) and practiced yoga. Have been super awake, alert, clear and positive.

And I *finally* decided to try grey Celtic sea salt (finely ground) with the SWF. Oh, JOY. I'll never use any other kind of salt ever again. I sucked down that liter of water in no time, no bitterasstaste or anything.

I'm seriously considering doing 14 days.

oh WOW oh WOW oh WOW oh WOW oh WOW oh WOW
day 6 of the cleanse, and I took a Bikram class tonight. I wanted to walk out of there pumping my fist and shouting HELL YEAH like some asinine college frat boy. It was soooooo good!
(taking a Bikram's yoga class for the first time while on the MC is NOT recommended, folks!)

        It's 12:30 and I'm STILL not tired!!

oh yes, have to agree with the celtic sea salt. I bought some before we started after reading about it here... funny, most people say that is their least favorite part of the MC, but my BF told me that it's one of his favorite parts!

yes, do the celtic sea salt and lots of yoga! yeeeee haw! I'm feeling ya on the energy levels, Rebecca. Good luck all!

I'm getting back on tomorrow. I ate a small meal today, after convincing myself to get off of it, then I found this tribe. Love to form a new life with you all. Need a lot of support and encouragement to do this. I wasn't hungry or needing to get off, just feeling depressed and thinking later would be better. i'm gonna stick with it now for 15-30 more days, I'm on day 9 now, except did not drink any lemonade. I am so unfamiliar with my body and what its doing and what it needs, and I'm out of touch with taking care of myself, and being good to me. Just had twins on the 12th. So dealing with some postpartom. Want to eliminate today, I havemn't at all, so I'll drink more tea, saltwater tomorrow.

if you just had babies, you should probably be rebuilding you body instead of detoxing. i would recommend a juice fast instead of master cleanse if you are set on doing a fast.

are you nursing? then you should DEFINATELY not be fasting.

check out www.curezone.com and look at the master cleanse and juice fast forums. people there are EXTREMELY knowledgable and can answer any questions you might have.

knowledge is KEY to doing any fast. i usually research extensively before i do a fast to make sure i am doing it right. it can do your body more harm than good.

good luck. getting in touch with your body is a long process if you are currently unaware of your body. you took the first step....

Nursing twins will take the weight off! Fasting/cleansing can put a lot of junk in your bloodstream that the twins don't need. If you're needing a boost, nurse, nurse, nurse and try acupuncture. Congratulations on the twins!! Good job, mommy!

Not sure if you're nursing, but the window is open even if you haven't started yet. A lactation consultant can help.

Good luck! The Master Cleanse will be there when your body is ready for it!

I have done many 7 day cleanses and I started with the Master Cleanse product online. It has given me a lot more energy and I usually lose about 5 pounds each time I do the cleanse. You will be able to complete your cleanse with no problem as long as you are ready to really test your self discipline. Doing a cleanse will help you not only grow physically, but also spiritually.
