Okay, I'm starting the Master Cleanse for the first time and was wondering if any of you have done the MC and have still smoked in general? I know that while on MC we're supposed to be caffeine, alcohol, and cigarette free, but...what's everyone's experience been with this? I guess what I am wondering is, is it okay for me to still smoke and maybe have some green tea? Or even no green tea, and still cigarettes?

Re: green tea and cigarettes?
Mon, December 29, 2008 - 9:45 AMI drink mad coffee and smoke a lot of tobacco (organic american spirit) and smoke ganja all the time. Quit the coffee for the MC (think it caused my headaches and general sluggishness the first 2 days, but stayed on the tobacco and dank. I don't really feel as though that hampered the effects of the cleanse at all. Tobacco is actually very cleansing for my body (or so I've convinced myself) and I don't experience the smokers cough or general respratory problems that I had from smoking prerolled smokes.

Re: green tea and cigarettes?
Mon, December 29, 2008 - 2:48 PMSeems like a good time to quit smoking. Stop for the cleanse, and just don't go back to it.
Regardless, it is a *cleanse*. How clean can you get while still putting toxic chemicals in your body?

Thu, February 5, 2009 - 4:30 PMof course you can do what you want, just don't call it the master cleanse if you're not doing it by the book... i don't plan on giving up smoking (i too roll and smoke american spirit, along with the dope) afterwards, but i thought a weeklong break would be nice for my lungs.
