Day 2 - SWF NOT working! Help?

So... I drank my herbal lax tea last night, which is normally very effective. I drank the salt water (in proper measurements) this morning and it's been an hour and absolutely nothing has happened. I'm beginning to get worried that I'm absorbing the salt :( I normally don't have salt (or hardly any) in any of my foods. I consider myself to be sensitive to salt. And now I just drank a whole thing of it just for it to be absorbed into my body it seems :(

so what do I do? would it work if I did the laxative tea in the morning instead of the SWF? a lot of people seem to have huge problems with this SWF and I was doubting before I did it how legitimate it was, now I'm pretty sure it's bull. I don't want to experiment around with the salt levels because I feel I'll only put my body through more harm and absorb more and more salt. Any advice?

    Hi Misha,

I suggest posting to Curezone: curezone.com/forums/f.asp There are more people on it and you can get more immediate answer than you can in this tribe. Have you searched SWF on this tribe? Several people have had the same problem as you and it's a matter of figuring out what ratio works for you since the salt to water ratio is supposed to mimic your blood density. Do you feel bloated?

As for whether the SWF works, I know that it personally has worked for me without me needing to play around with more or less salt. And believe me, when it works, it's very cleansing and if you can do it, I think it's much better than the laxative tea. It can be a bit of a hassle because you have to frequently use the restroom and you don't always have time/access. Here's some more info about it and you can decide for yourself it's worth trying again. www.healthtruthrevealed.com/full...e.php

Here you Mïsha, this was a response I gave for another post, hope it helps....

-The Master Cleanse allows our bodies to release the incredible amount of toxins that we have built up in our body over time. Without the use of the tea &/or a SWF the only method we are getting these toxins out of our bodies is through the liquid we are passing everyday. All of the toxins & build up in our lower tract have nowhere to go if we do not use one of these methods clean it out as well.

A common misconception is that one is more preferable or better to use than the other, when in fact the most complete & thorough way to aid in the disposal of the toxins being released through the Master Cleanse is to combine BOTH the use of a laxative tea & the Salt Water Flush. Their combination is the key to a true cleaning of the walls of your guts. This is why...

The tea loosens & relaxes your bowels using natural herbs while you sleep. It's kind of like letting a pan sit over night in hot soapy water after you cook something.

The saltwater flush works because your body does not see the saline solution as a liquid, but passes it on as it would a solid, through the lower tract, where the salt can scrub the lining of your lower intestines & colon. If you use too little salt this will not occur and you will absorb or pass the SWF as a liquid, through the urinary tract, which kills the point entirely.

I have heard mixed comments as to how much/little salt to use. Anywhere from 2 teaspoons - 2 tablespoons seems to be the consensus. I would suggest using as much as you can stomach to drink a quart of... 1 slightly heaping tablespoon is about it for me, If I try more it'll try to come right back up.

The more days you can do this, the better (every day if you can). This is difficult for many people, but I can not stress how important a part of the cleanse this is. The key is to make it part of your routine & I have gotten this down to clock work. Here's what has worked best for me...

This is my personal technique.... In the evening approximately 8-10 hours before I plan on waking up, I drink the tea (learning your personal "turn-around time" can only come with experience). I then pre-make my quart of salt water for the morning & then go to sleep...

For the morning I set my alarm for about an hour before I need to be awake & get on my normal routine. When my alarm goes off I stumble to the kitchen, warm the saltwater up in the microwave, down it, reset my alarm for an hour later and go back to sleep... I wake up an hour later, hit the bathroom for about 10 minutes & then jump in the shower.

I feel like this is the most challenging part of the fast for most people, it was for me at first. But the key is to make it part of your routine, and then its not so bad at all.

Hmm.. make sure you are doing it correctly. Here is a step by step guide on how to do the salt water flush: www.colonzone.org/salt-water-flush.php

This has certainly happened to me. Check the other thread "common mistakes" too. I also just read something about doing a 'shot' of salt and water and then chugging the other water without salt to get the right solution without having to chug SW. Has anyone tried this? It sounds like a great idea!

Doesn't sound like it would have the correct effect to me. The point is that the salt should be dissolved into the water to change the salinity of the water. How would you ensure the proper balance once it's inside you?

Yeah, I know what you mean...so I did a regular SWF Sunday but I could hardly get the whole thing down. Tried the "shot" method this am and it was a lot easier - and it worked just the same if not better b/c I drank the whole thing.

I poured my tablespoon (works better than 2 teaspoons for me) into about a cup of warm water and then alternated taking shots of SW and chugging regular water. I might be able to do it every day this way...if I have the time in the am.
